Requirements to Apply:

  • Have participated in UW Health’s Health Occupations and Professions Exploration (HOPE)program.
  • Have completed an internship at UW Health.
  • You must be planning to enroll in 6 or more credits during the upcoming semester
  • You must be planning to enroll in one of the following degree programs: Associate Degree Nursing, Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Technician, Nursing Completion, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Therapist, Medical Assistant, Medical Coding Specialist, Nursing Assistant, Optomtetric Technician, Surgical Technologist, Clinical Ophthalmic Assistant, Mammography, Phlebotomy, Polysomnography or Liberal Arts Transfer Program

DirectTextbook.com Scholarship – ($1000-$5000) n 500 words or less write a response to the following questions:
“What is required to live self responsibly? What skills are you acquiring that will help you live self responsibly?”

Hit The Books Scholarship($500) CoffeeForLess.com “Hit The Books Scholarship” winners will be selected based upon two criteria: successful accomplishment of essay subject matter and individual student needs. Scholarship awardees will be expected to permit Coffee Serv Inc. to publish their winning essay on CoffeeForLess.com.

Second Chance Scholarship– No minimum GPA is required, but students must already be enrolled at the college or university. A total of 5 scholarships are available with $1,000 awarded to each recipient.

ABODO ($500) – Incoming freshmen who are attending an accredited institution for Fall 2017.

Financial Sumo Educational Scholarship Program($1,000)

  • Submit a one page essay addressing the following two questions:
    1. What struggle have you overcome in your life that you are proud of?
    2. Financially speaking, what would this scholarship mean to you?
  • By the way, we don’t care if it’s single or double spaced, 3 sentences or 3 pages, written in Word, Pages, handwritten, etc. There are NO RULES for HOW you submit it – we are looking at the content of WHAT you are writing not what format you write it in.
