The TOPS College Success Program is able to offer emergency assistance to TOPS Scholars. Conditions include unexpected or unresolved financial burden that has the potential to impact academic continuation and can be addressed by a small stipend. These stipends are generally up to $500 or less.

The TOPS College success emergency fund is open to TOPS Scholars who are enrolled in continuing education for the current or upcoming semester. Incoming freshman students are eligible their second semester. Students are only eligible for funding once each academic year (fall, spring, and summer), and no more than 3 times per undergraduate degree.

Please be aware that academic performance is a contributing factor to how funding decisions are made. Students who have lost financial aid awards due to not performing according to SAP (satisfactory academic performance) standards for two consecutive semesters are not eligible for this funding.
