Courageous Persuaders Scholarship

Required:  Open to all high school students in grades 9-12 – not only those taking video production.  To enter, Create a 30-second commercial to warn middle school students about the DANGERS OF UNDERAGE DRINKING or the DANGERS OF TEXTING WHILE DRIVING. Students can enter separate videos in both categories.

Due: February 9th, Award: Win over $25,000 in scholarship money and trophies!

Women in Focus 2018 

Each year, Women in Focus, Inc., a Madison-area women’s services organization, awards scholarships to deserving college-bound students of color whose achievement and goals embody the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King’s vision. The majority of Women In Focus Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school students.

Students must be a student of color, with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, and must  be a current high school senior graduating from a Dane County High School. Preference may be given to those who demonstrate financial need, demonstrate a spirit of community involvement & academic achievement, or are first-generation college students.

Due: February 15th, Award: $2,000+

Jackie Robinson Foundation

Required: Be a graduating high school senior; Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States; Show leadership potential; Demonstrate a dedication to community service; Present evidence of financial need; Be a United States citizen; Have a minimum composite ACT score of 21; Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4–year College when applying for the scholarship.

Due: February 15th, Award: $28,000/four years to minority high school students
