Alpha Phi Alpha- The Mu Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of educational scholarships for graduating high school seniors attending a 2 or 4-year accredited public or private college or university.
Applications are now available for students who will be enrolled full-time for the fall
Amount: ranges from $500-$1,000 per student and represents a one-time opportunity for the freshman year only.
Due: May 14, 2018 and submitted to Tyrone Williams
The applicant criteria are the following:
– Graduating high school senior residing in Dane County
– Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
– Enrolled in a 2 or 4-year accredited institution for the Fall 2018 academic semester

Application Checklist

Veterans for Peace– A $1,000 scholarship will be offered by the Clarence Kailin Chapter of Madison Veterans for Peace to a Madison high school senior who writes the best original essay on the peace topic “Why I Believe Violence is not the Solution.”

Applicant: Must be a high school senior enrolling at Madison College.

Due: May 4th, Award: $1,000

Wisconsin Town Association– Any high school senior graduating from either a public or a private high school in WI who intends to enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or a vocational college.

Due: May 29th, Award: $1,000
