Student Services Assistant (West HS)– We are seeking a receptionist in Student Services at West High School.The job is M, W, F, 8-4pm and pays about $15/hr. It’s an LTE position, so it does not include benefits. Here are the main duties: Assist students, staff, parents and the general public with various questions and concerns; Prepare correspondence, calendars, tables, charts, and other documents; Use Infinite Campus system to maintain and provide information re: attendance, schedules, transcripts, and basic student information; Data support and management for Student Services staff; Supervision and triage of Student Services office space; Maintain general files and forms; Prepare handbooks and update Student Services Department website.

Ryan Brothers Ambulance Service Internship (PAID): High school graduates 18+ who are attending classes to earn their EMT license are eligible to apply. Ryan Brothers will reimburse students for tuition—50% before the class begins, and 50% after the student works with Ryan Brothers for one year. Books and testing are also covered. Madison College Brand Ambassador – BOJ – $20/hr Part Time
Boj is a mobile app that connects college students with internships and jobs with companies who are hiring through our matching algorithms. Forget having to spend countless hours applying to jobs. The Brand Ambassador’s goal is to promote boj at marketing booths in the student center, lecture hall buildings, colleges, other buildings on campus, sporting events, career fairs, and events happening on the campus.
TDS Telecom – Accounting Intern (Full Time) – This position is responsible for assisting the Accounting team in ensuring compliance with internal controls and executing general accounting activities, including the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and in preparing financial statements and reports.
Marketing & Events Coordinator (Full Time) – This position will own projects and tasks which will require the candidate to be extremely driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Training Opportunity- OnBase and Naviant: This is an opportunity for students (preferably sophomores and beyond) to take a course through Madison College (unlimited scholarships are available), which will certify them in OnBase, a software popular in Madison for tech organizations. The students would then gain support through Naviant in connecting with employers who are interested in hiring employees to work with/train other in this software!

East Madison Community Center– EMCC has several ongoing volunteer opportunities, and they are especially looking for help in their food pantry. Keep checking the website for other volunteering options!
GSAFE– No internships available right now, but in need of volunteers! They create just schools for LGBTQ+ youth in Wisconsin. Volunteers needed for helping with office work and with their annual events.
Pathways Internship Program– The U.S. Department of State’s Pathways Internship Program includes both the Internship Temporary Program (ITEP) and the Internship Experience Program (IEP). Both programs are targeted toward U.S. citizens enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions from high school to graduate school and professional academic levels. Both programs provide students with opportunities to explore Federal careers while being paid for the work performed.
Let America Vote– This group advocates for voter rights and protection. The internship includes learning about voters’ rights, grassroots programs, and will have political guest speakers. Hours are flexible and students who are interested in being more involved are encouraged to apply for their fellowship program.
