Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee–  To help eliminate barriers to graduation and open doors to career success, HPGM offers scholarships for Hispanic undergraduate and graduate students. All scholarships are tiered to improve retention and graduation rates. To date, HPGM has awarded $392,500 to 97 students throughout Wisconsin.

*this scholarship IS open to 2-year college students but have to have 24 credits completed!

Wise Company Scholarship Contest– Write a 600-800 word essay on a prompt regarding the U.S. power grid.

Applicants: Legal U.S. residents with a minimum 3.5 GPA and currently enrolled full time in a 2 or 4 year institution.

Due: June 1st, Award: $500-$1,500

Jones-Robinson Scholarship– A scholarship for African-American students from a low-income family and who are children of a single parent. Students will need to fill out an application and write an essay, along with 3 letters of recommendation.

Applicants: African-American students from a low-income family and who are children of a single parent, with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Due: June 1st, Award: $1,000

Latinos United for College Education Scholarships General and special scholarships to Latinos entering or enrolled in college. Applicants must have the following requirements met: current or college GPA of 3.0; copy of high school or college transcript; enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits during the semester at an accredited Wisconsin college or university; commit to 20 hours of volunteering with LUCES events and programs; include 2 letters of recommendation from a teacher, employer, volunteer program coordinator or other community member who can speak about your motivation for higher education and address your academic, volunteer, and community achievements.

Due: June 9th, Award: $750-$1,000

Pretty Presets Scholarship –  Bi-annually (twice each year) we award a $500 scholarship to students who submit unique essays that meet the requirements detailed on our web page. Pretty Lightroom Presets is a female owned business and we are fortunate to have served over 250,000 photographers and hobbyists over the past 8 years.  Our mission as a company is to encourage and inspire others to grow both personally and professionally through their photography journey.

Madison College Special Scholarship Applications– There are multiple scholarships available at this time. Each require slightly different information, but they all have three basic requirements to consider before applying:

  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Be enrolled in 6 or more credits
  • Be enrolled in Madison College’s Dental Assistant Program

Heather Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund– Submit a 500 word personal essay describing your goals for college, personal/professional ambitions, why you deserve this scholarship, and any financial burdens. Also required: letter of certification verifying that you have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, 3 letters of reference, 5×7 head shot, transcripts & SAT scores

Applicants: Students diagnosed with sickle cell anemia or other life-threatening diseases (lupus, diabetes, etc) facing financial hardships

Due: June 31st

R&D Systems Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must have a major declared in a science related field

-Enrolled or accepted for enrollment (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma) with a declared major in a science-related field.

Due:  December 9th, Award: $1,500
